Farouk is a graduate of the American University of Nigeria (AUN) back in 2009 where he obtained Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems. He also obtained a Master Degree in Information Systems from Eastern Mediterranean University, Cyprus with a Distinction. He started his career at Sigma Pensions in 2011 as Business Analyst. While he was there, he performed several tasks. One of which was that, he analyzed the payment processes to retirees and reduced the payment processing time by half. Shortly after, we was saddled with more responsibility where he was moved to Database Programming (as an Oracle PL SQL Developer).
Farouk was a lead-developer who spearheaded the customization of the ERP solution used by Sigma Pensions. He was also a team member in the development team that developed and maintained the corporate Sigma Website using Umbraco. In 2018, Farouk left Sigma to start his own company named Mahsul Solutions; an internet business that specializes in commodity exchange and food retail. Farouk is a certified SAP-ERP TERP10 Solutions Architect and an Umbraco Certified Developer.
